Foreign language words that are translated using Taiwanese phonetic rules are usually written in romanization.

Use the Taiwanese word formation logic to create new ways of speaking, such as the following examples.

There are many ways to translate, and hundreds of options are generated. Which translation is more appropriate? Basically, we have the following three standards for reference and discussion:

① Accuracy
How dare this word mean to be close to her? How do you distinguish similar concepts?

②Transmission
If this concept is explained in this way, would people be able to understand it just by listening to it? Is it shocking to talk about it?

③ Subjectivity
Does this word dare to have Taiwanese characteristics? Do you dare to speak in a Taiwanese tone?

Every translation has its own advantages and disadvantages. Usually, transliterated words and words borrowed from Chinese characters will correspond to the original text more accurately, but they will lack subjectivity. The literal translation will be more subjective, but not necessarily accurate, and its communication ability depends on the style.

At that time, speaking Chinese or English directly was a choice, but the language reality in today's society is indeed common. Speaking Mandarin or English directly is definitely more communicative. The premise that most people know both Mandarin and English makes speaking Mandarin and English "more readable".

Don't force yourself to translate, just speak X language
